Worship
The worship committee believes that our worship services are formative events that speak to us about the nature and character of the God we serve and the Gospel we believe.  The songs we sing, the prayers we pray, the Scriptures read and preached, are a critical part of the mission of disciple making.

Sunday morning worship services are at the heart of our disciple making efforts.  John Piper has written, “Missions exists because worship doesn’t.  Worship is ultimate, not man.  When this age is over, and the countless millions of the redeemed fall on their faces before the throne of God, missions will be no more.”
Outreach
The outreach committee assists our congregation in the process of making disciples by helping us ‘go into all the world’ with the Gospel message as we make disciples in our own homes and community as well as to the ‘ends of the earth’

“Then Jesus came to them and said, ‘All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you.”
-Matthew 28:18-20
Discipleship
The discipleship committee serves us by providing various opportunities to help us fulfill the passage quoted below.  This is the ‘classroom’ part of our disciple making efforts.  Sunday school classes, Wednesday night studies, and small group studies all provide us with biblically sound training in our faith.

“And so, from the day we heard, we have not ceased to pray for you, asking that you may be filled with the knowledge of His will in all spiritual wisdom and understanding, so as to walk in a manner worthy of the Lord, fully pleasing to Him, bearing fruit in every good work and increasing in the knowledge of God.”– Colossians 1:9-10
Hospitality
The Hospitality committee contributes to our mission of making disciples by demonstrating concrete ways of showing affection to one another.  The hospitality committee provides meals, plans events and helps us to celebrate major life events in our church family.

“Contribute to the needs of the saints and seek to show hospitality.”  – Romans 12:13
